Zenith: Nexus - Gnasher Enemies

A selection of the different Gnasher classes that populate the floating islands in Zenith: Infinite Realms.
I led the Style Guide direction and managed the outsourcing pipeline, including documentation, timelines, and feedback for the concept artist. Given the fast-paced environment, where the entire lineup was completed in two weeks I had to do some re-work of the existing concepts to fit our rigging and design constrains.
On top of that overhead managing job, I was also in charge of sculpting, modelling and texturing the models and their respective weapons.
Fun fact: The Gnasher Brute was not planned when approaching Outsourcing so I had to create model and concept in less than 2 days.
These new enemies prompt us to create a new rig to increase the different range of motion and make the gnashers feel like the dangerous beasts they are, so the player got a real sense of dread when being chased by one of them.

All creatures were made using a high to low pipeline; sculpted in Zbrush, retopoed in 3DCoat, UVs in 3DsMax, baked in Marmoset Toolbag and textured in Substance 3D Painter using baked maps from Marmoset as the base to speed up the texturing process and finally added into the game in Unity.
